The conventional way of migrating your WordPress website from one server to another server would have involved a lot of manual work (if you have done it before). With the latest WordPress Toolkits that’s built-in for our managed WordPress hosting, you can now do this easily with just a couple of clicks.
Here’s how you can get it done..
1. Login to your WordPress control panel via our client area portal.
2. On your WordPress dashboard control panel, look for the “Website Importing” icon. Click on it.
3. Fill in your WordPress domain together with the FTP account of your remote server that host your WordPress website. Click OK and it will begin to access to your remote WordPress website and transfer both the websites and database. Depending on your size of your existing WordPress website on the remote server, the speed of transfer will vary – ie if you have a lot of images uploaded to your wp-content folder, that would take longer time to complete the import.
