Host: ftp.yourdomain.com or IP Address Port: 21 Logon type: Normal Username: FTP Username Password: FTP Password 4. Back to main screen, click the small arrow on right beside the “Site Manager” and select the name that just created from previous step. 5. Connection established. You will see the server files on the right hand side and you have your local files on your left. At this point, you have successfully connected to the server. You may either drag and drop, double click on them or right click on them to transfer them between two locations. How to access FTP via FileZilla :

1. Firstly, grab a copy of FileZilla application (FileZilla Client) from http://filezilla-project.org/download.php?type=client, and install it.

2. Once installed, launch the program and the following screen should appear. Then click on the first left icon – Site Manager.

3. Click on “New Site”, rename it to your preferable name such as yourdomain.com. Then fill in the connection details and click “OK” to save the settings.

Host: ftp.yourdomain.com or IP Address
Port: 21
Logon type: Normal
Username: FTP Username
Password: FTP Password

4. Back to main screen, click the small arrow on right beside the “Site Manager” and select the name that just created from previous step.

5. Connection established. You will see the server files on the right hand side and you have your local files on your left. At this point, you

have successfully connected to the server. You may either drag and drop, double click on them or right click on them to transfer them

between two locations.

Note:
For Linux users, upload your website files to “public_html” folder.

When you are using FileZilla FTP Client, you might getting error as too many connection from this IP and lastly found connection timed out.

Eg, Too many connections (10) from this IP: [xx.xx.xx.xx]

The reason you got this is our Linux server allow only 8 connection from 1 IP.

To resolve this issue, you may use the following step to set the similtaneously connectoin to 1 only.
1. Launch your FileZilla FTP Client.
2. Select on Edit and hit on Settings…
3. Click on Transfers from the “Select page:” panel.
4. Change the value of Maximum simultaneous transfer to 1 only where the original value .

For cPanel user, you can use FileZilla to connect as SFTP.

In order to have SFTP , you will need to have cPanel hosting plan and Shell Access.

(Please contact support for enabling Shell Access for your hosting account)

For SFTP, only the main cPanel account access able to use it.

Here are the steps.

1) Open FileZilla

2) Go To File > Site Manager

3) Then you can name your site at New Site

4) Insert your Server IP at HOST, SSH PORT (8286)

5) Insert the cPanel username as User and also cPanel password.

Now you can connect SFTP with FileZilla.
