By default, UTC time zone is preset for every operating system of our Cloud Hosting virtual machine. Following guide will demonstrates the way to modify various operating system time zone for Cloud Hosting virtual machine.

Debian
1. Log into virtual machine through SSH.

2. Execute command
# dpkg-reconfigure tzdata

3. Select the UTC time zone .

Centos
1. Log into virtual machine through SSH.

2. Execute commands (change to MYT zone example)
# mv /etc/localtime /etc/localtime.bak
# ln -s /usr/share/zoneinfo/Asia/Kuala_Lumpur /etc/localtime

Windows Server 2003
1. Log into virtual machine through RDP.
2. Start
3. Control Panel
4. Date and Time
5. Click Time Zone tab.
6. Select the time zone and complete the change.

Windows Server 2008
1. Log into virtual machine through RDP.
2. Start
3. Control Panel
4. Clock, Language, and Region
5. Date and Time
6. Click Change Time Zone
7. Select the time zone to complete the change.

  1. Login to your Cloud Dashboard
  1. Click on Manage Flexi Cloud Nodes
  1. Select the Virtual Machine you are going to update the Firewall rule at the List Servers Tabs
  1. Click on Network tab then select Firewall
  1. At the Add new rule, populate the address, port, Protocol and Commands.

Address – You can key in the IP address you wish to block or drop

Port – You can key in the port you wish to block or drop

Protocol – You can select the protocol TCP or UDP for different purpose

Commands – You can be able to set accept or drop the connection

Create Domain at Cloud DNS Zones
1. Log into our cloud hosting control panel with your login credential.
2. At Dashboard, click DNS Hosting and then the DNS hosting product name at the next page.
3. At the next page, click Add new domain.

4. Then, enter your domain name. The control panel will submit the request and add the domain name.

  1. Select the Virtual Machine you are going to monitor the usage at the List Servers Tabs
  1. Click on Usage tab, there is 3 type of usage which is Disk Usage, CPU Usage and Network Usage:

i) Disk Usage:

Disk Usage display the information for the disk Input and Output.

ii) CPU Usage:

CPU Usage show the CPU load hourly.

  1. Click on DNS Hosting and click on the DNS Hosting – Cloud DNS Zones x 10 (FREE) .

  1. Key in your domain name and click Submit.
