2. Execute commands (change to MYT zone example)
# mv /etc/localtime /etc/localtime.bak
# ln -s /usr/share/zoneinfo/Asia/Kuala_Lumpur /etc/localtime

Windows Server 2003
1. Log into virtual machine through RDP.
2. Start
3. Control Panel
4. Date and Time
5. Click Time Zone tab.
6. Select the time zone and complete the change.

Windows Server 2008
1. Log into virtual machine through RDP.
2. Start
3. Control Panel
4. Clock, Language, and Region
5. Date and Time
6. Click Change Time Zone
7. Select the time zone to complete the change.

How to Start and Stop Virtual Server

1.Login to your Cloud Dashboard

2.Click on Manage Flexi Cloud Nodes

3.Select the Virtual Server you are going to Start ,Stop or Reboot at the List Servers Tabs.

4.Click on the button ON/OFF at the status to turn the Virtual Server ON/OFF

How to stop/disable SNMP service

This article is to guide on how to stop/disable SNMP service:

To stop SNMP service:

1. Using SSH to access your server with root log in.

2. Enter command # service snmpd stop ( command appear after symbol # )

To disable SNMP service from running at operating system startup:

1. Using SSH to access your server with root log in.

2. Enter command # chkconfig snmpd off ( command appear after symbol # )

How to boot your server into recovery mode

1. Login to your Cloud Dashboard
2. Click on Manage Flexi Cloud Nodes
3. Select the Virtual Machine at the List Servers Tabs
4. Click on Recovery Icon
5. below message will be prompt and click on OK

How to access Virtual Server’s Firewall Configuration

1. Login to your Cloud Dashboard

2. Click on Manage Flexi Cloud Nodes

3. Select the Virtual Machine you are going to update the Firewall rule at the List Servers Tabs

4. Click on Network tab then select Firewall

5. At the Add new rule, populate the address, port, Protocol and Commands.

Address – You can key in the IP address you wish to block or drop

Port – You can key in the port you wish to block or drop

Protocol – You can select the protocol TCP or UDP for different purpose

Commands – You can be able to set accept or drop the connection

6. Click on Submit

7. Click on Apply Firewall Rules

Create Domain at Cloud DNS Zones

4. Then, enter your domain name. The control panel will submit the request and add the domain name.

5. Return to the DNS hosting product page again and click the new added domain name.

6. You are allowed to add following records at the next screen.

– A
– AAAA
– CNAME
– MX
– TXT
– NS
– SVR

Below is the DNS you should apply to your domain name.

ns1.myinstantdns.com : 69.168.228.3
ns2.myinstantdns.com : 69.168.229.3
ns3.myinstantdns.com : 69.168.230.3
ns4.myinstantdns.com : 69.168.231.3

How to check your Cloud Usage

1. Login to your Cloud Dashboard

2. Click on Manage Flexi Cloud Nodes

3. Select the Virtual Machine you are going to monitor the usage at the List Servers Tabs

4. Click on Usage tab, there is 3 type of usage which is Disk Usage, CPU Usage and Network Usage:

i) Disk Usage:

Disk Usage display the information for the disk Input and Output.

ii) CPU Usage:

CPU Usage show the CPU load hourly.

iii. Network Usage:

Network Usage to view the Bandwidth usage hourly.

1. Login to your Cloud Dashboard .

2. Click on DNS Hosting and click on the DNS Hosting – Cloud DNS Zones x 10 (FREE) .

If there is no DNS hosting under your dashboard, please submit us a support ticket for further checking.

3. Select Add domain icon.

4. Key in your domain name and click Submit.

5. The domain name has been added . You may add new DNS record for your domain name such as A record, CNAME and etc. to point to your server .

2. Dashboard.

3. Click on “Manage” for the product category you want to manage.

4. Click the product that ordered.

5. Press Add new server tab.

6. Select the operating system and fill in the rest needed information

7. Press Create New Virtual Machine.

8. Finished.

4. Click on Delete and a pop up window will ask for permission to delete your Virtual Machine and just click on Yes

Please note that all information in the Virtual Server will be removed. Please do backup before delete your Virtual Server.
